Graveside service will be on Saturday, September 23rd at 10:30 AM at Meeting House Hill Cemetery in Hollis with a reception following at East Waterboro Baptist Church. Bonnie Jane Stevens (Park) left this life after 74 years, for the next on Friday, September 8, 2017 due to heart failure. The Lord took her at Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, California.
Bonnie was born on November 25, 1942 in Buffalo, NY to Clyde William Park, Sr. and Alys Jane Holden. Bonnie began her nursing career at UCLA Medical Center, but retired as a Registered Nurse after 31 years with the Veteran's Administration. She earned her BSN in 1964 through Roberts Wesleyan College and MSN from CSULA in 1978. Later in life, she earned a second Masters degree in Theological Studies from Columbia Evangelical Seminary, and for a short time, Bonnie acted as Assistant Pastor at Granada Hills Baptist Church in Granada Hills, California.
She is survived by the father of her children, Willie Guy Stevens, son Mark David Stevens (Cheryl Ann Stevens), daughter Michelle Luree Savoie (Michel Savoie), grandson Forrest Austin Stevens, and granddaughters Giselle Alys Savoie and Charlotte Lumina Savoie, her brothers Clyde (Buss) William Park, Jr. (Peggy Park), Stephen Llewellyn Park (Colleen Park), and Timothy Jason Park (Judy Park).
Bonnie is predeceased by her parents Alys Jane Park and Clyde William Park, Sr.
