Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 13 Portland Rd, Buxton Friday August 18, 2017 from 1 to 2 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 2:00 pm with Pastor Brian Blair of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church officiating. Private family burial will follow.

Obituary:
Hollis, Madeline L. Plummer, passed away August 14, 2017 at the Gorham House in Portland with her family by her side.
She was born in Biddeford October 19, 1923 the daughter of Chester and Katherine Harvey Huston.
Madeline attended Saco schools and was a graduate of Thornton Academy in 1942.
She worked many years as a bookkeeper first for the the Diamond Match Company and later for P.W. Plummers and Sons Inc.
Mrs. Plummer was a member of the Pleasant River # 159 Order of the Eastern Star of West Buxton, former Treasurer for the South Buxton Cemetery Association and a former member of the Saco Valley Civic Association.
She is predeceased by her husband Roger O. Plummer in 1971 and a brother Everett Huston.
Survivors include 2 daughters Karen Winslow and her husband Richard of Portland, and Pamela Plummer-Nelson and husband David of Lakewood Ranch Florida, and a son Chet Plummer and his wife Faith of Hollis.
She enjoyed knitting, quilting, crafts and her morning crossword puzzle.
