Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco Monday January 9, 2017 from 3 to 5 PM.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am January 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
Pastor Philip McLain will officiate.
Spring burial in the family lot at Woodlawn Cemetery in Biddeford.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Saco Food Pantry 67 Ocean Park Rd, Saco, Maine 04072

Obituary:
Biddeford, Leslie M. Vance, 77, of Hill Street passed away Thursday January 5, 2017 at Maine Medical in Portland with his loving family by his side. He was born in Columbia, Maine July 24, 1939 the son of William and Cora Grant Vance.
He attended schools in Old Orchard Beach. Leslie was a self-employed house painter for many years and was a used tire salesman.
He enjoyed driving around town and visiting with his many friends and family.
Leslie is predeceased by his siblings, Guy Vance, Laura Day, Esther Elliott, Vera Carter, Ernest Vance, Perley Vance, Maxine McLain, Reginald Vance and a granddaughter Tasha McLain.
Survivors his wife Alberta Vance, 5 siblings Roberta Adams, Ruby Norton, Celia Emmons, Winona Ireland and Leona Norton,5 children Guy Vance, Patricia Dumont, Pamela Averill, Marhon McLain and William Vance II, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Its heartbreaking to know that uncle Leslie is no longer with us. He was always kind and loving to everyone. We know he is with the lord and there is no better place to be. R.I.P Uncle Les. My condolences to the family. Its a hard thing to go through. God will help you all through.
