Burial of her ashes will be held in at Soundview Cemetery in Marrow Stone Island, Washington.

Obituary:
Saco, Shyla D. Fristoe, 44, of Locke St passed away November 29, 2016 after a courageous 2 year battle with Cancer.
She was born in Port Townsend, WA March 16, 1972 the daughter of Donald and Terri Gregory Fristoe.
She attended local schools and graduated from Port Townsend High School, Washington in 1990.
While in high school, she participated in sports, specially volleyball.
Moving to Maine in 2002, she worked for Cedars Nursing home and then later for The Monarch Center in Saco. After leaving healthcare, she worked for Wood structures, Frodoes, and then to Beachway Market in Saco. Her latest employment was working the food counter at MHG Ice Arena in Saco for the Portland Junior Pirates.
Shyla also participated with local softball and volleyball teams, her favorite football team being the Seattle Seahawks.
Shyla enjoyed camping, and riding ATVs. She had a keen interest in motorcycles and was a member of the Rolling Thunder Chapter #2.
She will be remembered for her sarcasm and down to earth humor.
She is survived by her parents of Saco and a son Taylor Browne of Saco.

It was saddening to hear of your passing Shyla. You were definitely a fighter and it's now your turn to rest. Please know that I will always treasure our chats about ER, sharing of great books and your all around great attitude you always seemed to carry with you. Rest in peace my friend!
