Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home and Cremation, 13 Portland Rd, Buxton,(Bar Mills,) Maine, Saturday November 26, 2016 from 10 to 12 noon. A noon time service will follow at the funeral home. Rev. Ron Sargent will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Hollis.

Hollis and Leesburg, Fl, Barbara J. Wintle, 77 passed away November 4, 2016 at her home in Florida. She was born in Boston, MA January 5, 1939 the daughter of Chester and Edith Peterson Gramstorff.
Barbara graduated from Thayer Academy and worked at Boston Children Hospital.
On October 11, 1958 she married Ambrose Wintle Jr. in Randolph, MA.
The family moved to Hollis in 1965.
Barbara trained and showed Morgan horses throughout New England.
She was a member of the Maine Morgan Horse Association and the Morgan Horse Association.
She is predeceased by her husband Ambrose Wintle Jr. in 2005, her parents and a brother Fred Gramstorff.
Barbara was a stay at home mom who loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, who meant the world to her.
Barbara is survived by 2 sons Scott Wintle and his wife Melanie of Hollis and David Wintle and his wife Bonnie of Hollis, and a daughter Deborah Wintle of Hollis, 5 grandchildren Matthew, Ashlyn, Jayme Dayton and Reagan.
