Obituary:
David Paul Marston, 61, of Saco passed away September 9, 2016 at his home. He was born April 25, 1955 in Portland to Vernard and June Stewart Marston, Jr.
He attended Portland High School and left his senior years to join the Army. He was mainly stationed in Germany. After getting out of the Army, he lived in Florida for many years working for a roofing company and at Coca Cola as a mechanic. Upon returning to Maine, he found employment with Emery Waterhouse as a maintenance mechanic and was still working there at the time of his death.
David loved to do woodworking, repairing machinery, gardening and playing around with his tractor.
David was predeceased by his grandfather Vernard Marston, Sr. and his grandmother Doris Douglass.
He is survived by his parents of Saco, a brother Gary Marston and his wife Cheryl of Cumberland, a sister Nita Libby of Wyoming, aunts Esther Marston of South Portland and Doris Goodine and her husband Doug of Carmel, as well as many nieces and nephews.
