Visitation Information:
Visiting hours will be on Sunday, March 18, from 4-6 PM, followed by a 6 PM funeral service at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills). Burial will be in the spring at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery.

Obituary:
BUXTON/STANDISH- Ellen Mae Marshall Emery, age 88, passed away on March 14, 2012 at Southridge Nursing & Rehab. Center in Biddeford.
She was born in Standish, Maine on Sept. 6, 1923, to the late John and Lottie Marshall, and attended Standish schools. She was a homemaker and also worked at a dairy farm on Rt. 22 in Buxton for many years.
On Dec. 31, 1943, she married her beloved husband- Robert Emery.
Ellen was a member of the Buxton Grange, York Pomona, State and National Grange, Pythian Sisters in Buxton Center, and Buxton Center and South Gorham Baptist Churches.
Ellen enjoyed cooking, reading, sewing, crafts, and attending the Red Church and Bonny Eagle Craft Fairs for many years.
She is predeceased by her husband- Robert Emery; daughter- Alice; son- Herbert; brother- Warren Marshall and sister Marguerite Deering.
She is survived by her sons- Edwin Emery of Standish and his partner Ruth, Daniel Emery of Standish whom Ellen resided with for the last nine years; and daughter- Edith Ricker and her husband Wayne of Buxton; sisters- Vivian Emery of Buxton and Marion Hooper of NH; and grandchildren- Tammy, Misty, Justin, Jennifer, Lisa, Tina, Danny, Dale Robert, Roger, and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
Ellenís family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Southridge Nursing and Rehab. for their dedicated care giving.
