Obituary:
Dave Patrick Bossie, 52 of Hollis, Maine passed away peacefully on March 7th, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Van Buren, Maine, Dave was the son of Barbara (Lapointe) Bossie and the late Eugene Joseph Bossie. He attended the Van Buren School systems, graduating in 1981.
Dave enlisted in the United States Army and served with the 3rd Engineering Battalion. Shortly after his enlistment he served in Germany and then at Fort Stewart, Georgia where he met the love of his life, Pam.
Upon his completion of duties with the Army, Dave and Pam moved home to Maine where he turned his love for building into a successful general contracting and remodeling company. Dave’s reputation for quality craftsmanship became well known in Southern Maine where his business grew exponentially.
His Northern Maine roots instilled a love for the outdoors. He always loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and outdoor home projects. His great hobby was exercising his culinary skills with family and friends.
Dave was a proud and active member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2977 of Westbrook, Maine.
He is survived by his wife Pam of 32 years residing in Hollis; his mother Barbara and sister Susan of Van Buren; sister Gail (Claude) Chabre residing in Calais; his brother, Tom Bossie (Susan MacDougall) of Casco; sister Carrie (Mark) Wall of Windham; sister Kathy (Philip) Healey of Millinocket.
Also, he leaves his cherished nephews, Tony (Diane) Chabre of Limerick; Lee (Katie Darling) Chabre of Princeton, Ian (Natalia) Bossie of Naples FL; Jake and Seth Wall of Windham.
