A memorial service will be held Saturday January 9th 2016 at 1:30 pm at the Salvation Army Corp, Old Orchard Beach. A private family committal at Laurel Hill Cemetery, The Salvation Army Section, Deering Park will be held. Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral and Cremation, 365 Main St, Saco are entrusted with the arrangements.

Obituary:
Old Orchard Beach - Lillian Edith King, 93, The Inn at Atlantic Heights , formerly of Old Orchard Beach was Promoted to Glory December 19, 2015 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
She was born in Malden, MA May 11, 1922 the daughter of Edwin and Daisy Cox King.
Lillian graduated from Malden High School and was employed in local laundry.
She moved to Old Orchard Beach in 1971 and was employed as a bookkeeper for The Salvation Army in Portland for many years.
As a member of The Salvation Army, Old Orchard Beach Corps, she was the recording secretary for the ladies group. She was also involved in youth work and would provide Cocoa and Graham Crackers for the youngsters attending Sunday School.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, gardening, doing seamstress work and travel.
Lillian is predeceased by her sister Doris Berry and 2 brothers Edwin W. King and Kenneth K. King.
She is survived by a sister in law, Lauretta Buddleman of Stratford, NH and many nephews and nieces and other family members.
