Obituary:
Eleanore S. Coester, 88, of Depot Street, Buxton, passed away September 30, 2015 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York, January 29, 1927, the daughter of Gustav and Claire Geissinger Sammet.
She graduated from high school and the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Brooklyn, New York and worked for Johnson and Johnson as an executive secretary.
She was a Buxton resident for over 8 years and enjoyed reading, cross stitching, knitting and raising her children.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Mitchell of Buxton, 2 sons, Douglas Paul Coester of Georgia and Roy Gustav Von Dohlen of Florida and grand children Leigh Ann, Eric, Bryan, and great grandchildren Brayden, Marcus and Nikye.
Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral and Cremation Service, 13 Portland Road, Buxton are in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Buxton Fire Rescue squad, who always provided expert care in a respectful manner.
