Obituary:
Buxton, Edward L. Fardon, 81 of Atkinson Rd Buxton passed way September 26, 2015 at the Mercy Hospital in Portland with his family by his side.
He was born in Langdon, ND September 5, 1934 the son son of Edward and Hilda Hamilton Farden.
He left school at a young age and later joined the United States Air Force.
He served during the Korean Conflict.
After the service, while in California he met and married Margaret and they moved to Maine.
A long time resident of the Buxton, he worked as a mechanic, most recent for Yankee Ford, and then in his own gas station.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and cars.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years of marriage. Margaret Fardon of Buxton, 4 sons Terry and his wife Helga of Waterford, CT., Michael and his wife Tammy of Buxton, Chris Fardon of Kennebunk, and Jason and his wife Wendy of Standish, and 5 grandchildren Zachary, Nicolette, Hansel, Matthew and Hailey.
