Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco Saturday from 3 to 5PM.
Visiting hours will conclude with a service officiated by Most Holy Trinity, Good Shepherd Parish.

Obituary:
Saco, Stephen E. Corey Sr., 72 passed away February 1, 2012 at the Sealrock Healthcare Facility after a long illness. He was born in October 19, 1939 the son of the late Earl L. Corey, Mary Murphy and the step son of Leonard J. Burke.
Stephen graduated from Thornton Academy in 1958. He served in the US Navy for four and half years. He later attended the apprentice school at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. He was employed as a pipefitter and supervisor for over 28 years.
He was a member of the AMVETS, Saco Eagles, the Camp Ellis Rod and Gun club and the Saco Yacht Club.
Fishing was a large part of his life. He enjoyed many hours fishing all over the world.
Stephen and Shane Varney, a close friend of his son Michael, started a scholarship at Thornton Academy that ran for over 13 years.
He is survived by his wife Angelina DiPierro Corey of Saco, a son Stephen E. Corey Jr. and his wife Nancy and a granddaughter Nicole, all of Saco, a sister Margret Burke Grandison and her husband Lindsey of NJ, a brother Thomas Burke and his wife Colette of Shapleigh, a brother in Law George Melvin of Old Orchard Beach.
He is predeceased by his parents, a sister Mary Ethel Burke Melvin and a son Michael Thomas Corey.

Dear Angie, I was so sorry to hear of Steve's passing.
