Obituary:
Biddeford, Jean Roseanna Mooers, formerly of Old Orchard Beach and SouthRidge Living Center passed away February 6, 2015 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. She was born in Biddeford December 26, 1928 the daughter of Joseph and Lucy Leavitt Perry. She graduated from Thornton Academy.
Jean worked one time as a secretary for the City of Saco and later for Judge Mewer.
She is a former member of the Blue Point Congregational Church and Order of the Eastern Star of Old Orchard beach.
She enjoyed Sudoku, crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
She is remembered for being kindhearted, a lover of pets, especially cats.
She is survived by a son Keith Mooers of Biddeford, a granddaughter Heather Erin Mooers of Biddeford, a great grandson Killian Morrison of Biddeford and 2 nephews Charles Chip Deane of Scarborough and Stephen Bentley of Old Orchard Beach .
