Obituary:
Donald S. Johnson, Sr. of North Waterboro, passed away on January 22, 2015 at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Scarborough. He was born on June 6, 1933 in Saco, the son of Harley and Gertrude Smith Johnson.
Donald attended local schools and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.
Donald was a truck driver for many years working for Searway Ford and George Roberts.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his great granddaughter Kaylee and granddaughters Crystal and Kelsea.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Casey Johnson in 1997.
Survivors include his sons Charlie Casey of Arundel, Douglas Copley of Arizona, Robert Copley of Waterboro, Donald Johnson, Jr. of North Waterboro, Timmy Johnson of Lebanon; his daughter Tammy Plamondon of Sanford; a sister Natalie Johnson of Connecticut, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
