Friends and family may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Road, Buxton, (Bar Mills) Maine on Monday December 22, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00am at the Free Baptist Church of East Waterboro, 213 East Main Street. Pastor Charlie Storey will officiate.
Family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Route 1 Scarborough, Maine 04074.

Phyllis P. Medeiros, 69, of Landry Dr passed away December 17, 2014 at her residence, with her family by her side.
She was born in Holyoke, MA, December 12, 1945 the daughter of Stanley and Mildred Pampel Polchlopek.
She graduated from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelors Degree in History. She later received her Master’s in American Studies from the University of Southern Maine in Portland.
Phyllis was employed for over 32 years with MSAD # 6, Bonny Eagle where she was a teacher and Head of the Social Studies Department.
She enjoyed time with her family, the outdoors, gardening and history.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Alfred Medeiros of Hollis, 2 sons David Medeiros of Chelmsford, MA and Brian Medeiros and his wife Kim of Scarborough, 2 grandchildren Joshua and Katherine, 2 sisters Carolyn Bruneau of Westhampton, MA and Barbara Gromelski of Miami Shores, FL.
The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Tracey Weisberg, her staff and nurses at New England Cancer Specialists of Scarborough, for their special care.
