Visitation Information:
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 11, 2014 at noon at the First Congregational Church of Buxton (Tory Hill) in Buxton, Maine. A reception will be held at the family farm after the service. Burial will be at a later date.

Obituary:
Buxton, Ruth Worcester Johnson, 96, longtime resident of Buxton, Maine was born January 25, 1918 in Media Pennsylvania and died October 5, 2014.
She was a graduate of the University of Maine in Home Economics. She married Paul L. Johnson on February 22, 1944. She was a teacher; a music lover; and active in her community through the Dorcas Society, Garden Club and Extension. She loved people especially children and her family. She will be missed.
She is predeceased by her husband Paul L. Johnson, her parents William and Mabel Worcester, her siblings William Worcester, Jr. (Evelyn), Elizabeth Deily (Robert), Philip (Anne).
She is survived by her children Margaret Stubbs(Richard ) of Waterbury, Ct; Nancy Page (Frederick) of Bethel Park, PA; and Kenneth Johnson(Mary Ann) of Buxton; her eight grandchildren, Lisa Gould (Nathaniel)of Putnam, CT; William Stubbs of Woodstock; Ct, Christopher Stubbs of Waterbury, Ct; James Stubbs of Ft. Drum, NY; Rebecca Semke (Marc) of Lemoyne, PA; Derek Page of Bethel Park, PA Brian Johnson (Christine) of Buxton, David Johnson (Carrie) of Kaneohe, Hawaii; and eight great grandchildren Sydney, Ella, Stella, Emma, Yana, Owen, Pippa, and Wren.
