Visitation Information:
Visiting hours will be on Tuesday June 10 from 5-7 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located at the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Meeting House Hill Cemetery in Hollis.

Obituary:
HOLLIS- Eleanor Marie Johnson Smith, age 82, of River Road, passed away on June 8, 2014 at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born in Portland on July 20, 1931, a daughter of the late Harold Sr. and Mavis (Webber) Johnson.
She went to elementary school in West Hollis and attended Hollis High School.
Eleanor worked for Holmes Stickney Shoe Shop, the school district cafeteria, drove for Head Start, and also worked in the Nichols cafeteria.
She was a member of the Sunshine Club, Rebekahs, and many bowling leagues.
Eleanor enjoyed crocheting, bowling, watching auto racing, playing BEANO and watching her grandchildren play sports.
She is predeceased by three brothers- Harold Johnson Jr., Gerald Johnson, and Frank Johnson; and a granddaughter- Darcie Lynn Garland.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years- Harvey Smith Sr.; sons- Harvey Smith Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Eliot, David Smith and his wife Donna of Hollis, and Dennis Smith and his wife Robin of Cornish; daughters- Beverly Harris of Hollis, Deborah Garland of Buxton, and Diane Meserve and her husband Mike of Hollis; brother- Charlie Johnson and his wife Tootsie of Hollis; sister- Marjorie Johnson of Hollis; fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
