Donald Ralph Armentino - age: 64

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 27 from 2-3 PM, concluded by a brief prayer service at 3 PM, at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills).
LIMINGTON- Donald Ralph Armentino, entered into Heaven on the evening of May 22, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family.
He fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Don was 64 years old. He was born in Portland on Jan. 21, 1950, the son of the late Ralph and Sylvia Armentino.
After graduating from Gorham High School in 1969, Don proudly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and then with the Air National Guard. He retired as a staff sergeant in 1991 after more than 21 years of service.
Don worked several years for Blue Rock Industries, Maine Dept. of Transportation and Peterbilt of Maine.
He loved to camp and went on several camping trips in Maine and New Hampshire with his son Philip. He enjoyed having cookouts, daytrips to New Hampshire with his wife Eva and good days or evenings of fishing. He also enjoyed feeding the herd of deer that lived around his house, and was an avid country music fan.
He was a warm loving, caring person who will be sorely missed.
Don is survived by his beloved wife Eva of 42 years. Also his son Philip D. Armentino of Limington, two sisters Sharon Richards and her husband Alan of Gorham, Joyce Howe also of Gorham, brothers-in-law Brad Waterman of Limington and Vaughn Waterman of Buxton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and four furry companions Toby, Tabitha, Leiah and Miss Kitty. He is predeceased by his sister Dee Armentino Barton.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Robert Rovner and the staff of VNA Home Health and Hospice for the comfort and support that was given to Don and his family.
