A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 11 AM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, Maine 04086

Obituary:
BUXTON- Seth Herbert Sweetsir, age 70, passed away on Jan. 7, 2012 in Scarborough.
He was born in Maine on Nov. 4, 1941, a son of the late Herbert and Emily (Kimball) Sweetsir.
After attending Yarmouth schools, Seth went on to work for the Songo Shoe Company. Most recently, he has been employed as a foreman for Metro in Portland.
He will always be remembered for his enjoyment of snowmobiling, raising birds, woodcrafts and the fun he had with Christmas.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sandra (Jerome) Sweetsir; daughter- Nancy Sweetsir of Chocorua, NH; and brother- Wendell Sweetsir of Yarmouth.

Tim and I will miss Seth. He truly was a "sweet sir" and will be missed by many others too. He loved his family and his animals so! We loved picking up sawdust from him because he always had a smile and a story to share. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and with you.
