Visitation Information:
A Masonic Funeral Service will be held Thursday Feb. 20 at 3PM, followed by a memorial service with military honors at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills). Burial will be in the spring at Forest City Cemetery-South Portland.

Obituary:
BUXTON (GROVEVILLE)- “Tex” Elma Kennith Trott, age 94, of Waterman Road, passed away on Feb 15, 2014 at the Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough.
He was born in Freeport, TX on Dec. 12, 1919, the son of James and Bessie Trott.
After graduating from school in Texas, Tex went on to proudly serve in the US Navy aboard the light cruiser USS Trenton during WWII. In his later years, Tex would talk about both the camaraderie and horrors of war in the Pacific.
After the war ended, Tex made his way to Maine and worked all of his working years at Central Maine Power and worked many of those years as a station operator.
Tex was very involved with the community and was a member of the Rebekahs, Buxton Masonic Lodge #115 AF&AM- Past Master, Pleasant River Chapter #159 Order of the Eastern Star- Past Patron, Kora Shrine Temple, the Scottish Rite- Valley of Portland, and served over 35 years with the West Buxton Fire Dept..
Tex enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing pool and was an avid reader.
Tex will always be remembered for his fun loving spirit, his sayings, and the gift of gab.
He is predeceased by his first wife- Louise (Mann) Trott; and daughter- Allison Stetson.
He is survived by his beloved wife- Dolores (Ashline) Hutchins Trott; daughters- Beth Turner and her husband Lincoln “Linc” of Westbrook and Jean Berg of Portland; son-in-law- Ronald Stetson of Gray; stepsons- Michael Hutchins and John Hutchins and his wife Machelle; several nieces and nephews; four grandsons; and 2 great grandchildren.
