Obituary:
Saco, Mary Kathleen Flynn- LeBlanc, 70, of Free St, passed away December 28, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Fitchburg, Mass May 26, 1941 the daughter of Michael and Kathleen Shannon Flynn.
Mary attended St. Bernard’s High school in Fitchburg and later graduated from Fitchburg State College.
After college she taught grammar school in Huntington, NY. After her children were born she took many years off to be a stay at home mom with them, as they traveled the world as a military family. She and her family relocated to Maine in 1978. When her sons were in high school she went back to work again at Most Holy Trinity in Saco, as their Director of Religious Education and worked there until retirement. Throughout the years at Most Holy Trinity she worked with and touched the lives of countless youths,
Mary was an avid reader and also enjoyed summers on Lewis Bay in Cape Cod.
Survivors include 2 sons Tony LeBlanc and wife Mary LeBlanc of Saco and Matt LeBlanc and wife Holly LeBlanc of Saco, 3 grandchildren Abby, Katie and Logan.
Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco Sunday January 1st 2012 from 2 to 5 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Monday January 2, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity, Good Shepherd Parish, 271 Main St, Saco.
Burial will be at a later date.
Family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the following charity, as her mother died from breast cancer and Mary was a breast cancer survivor. Tony, Mary, Matt & Holly, I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, we all loved her so much, she will be dearly missed. Know that she is with her Father that she loved so dearly and Memere' and Pepere' too and she will surely watch over all of you.

I have such great memories of Mary from my years at Most Holy Trinity, mostly of her contageous laugh and her wonderful sense of mischief. We did have some great times together. She did extraordinary work at the parish and was a personal support to me and so many others who were privileged to work beside her. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Mary LeBlanc was one of the first people to welcome me to Saco. Most Holy Trinity was my first assignment as a Holy Cross deacon and priest. We had such amazing times in Youth Ministry, among other things. She loved her family so much, but also the many youth that travelled through our program. She gave all to us. I wish I could be at the funeral tomorrow, but that's not going to happen. I belong back at MHT for this event. Thank you, Mary, for all the love you gave so generously ... and your great laugh. God bless Tony and Matt and all her dear friends. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
