Visitation Information:
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 1-2 PM, at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills). A Masonic Service and memorial service will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial with USMC honors will follow at Goodwins Mills Village Cemetery.

Obituary:
DAYTON- David Alfred Grantham, age 76, passed away after a period of declining health on Oct. 26, 2013 in Scarborough.
He was born in Hollis on May 12, 1937, a son of the late Edward and Nellie (Dow) Grantham.
After graduating from Thornton Academy, David immediately joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country.
He drove truck for many years with companies such as Hunnewell and St. Johnsbury Trucking. David was also a boiler maker and worked in several paper mills.
He was an active member of the Local #29 in North Quincy until 1994, and was a member of Arion Masonic Lodge in Goodwins Mills.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting can tabs for charity, woodworking, working on cars, and most importantly- being with his beloved family.
He is predeceased by all his siblings- Arthur Grantham, Bob Clough, Minerva Dearborn, Midge Tripp and Betty Cole.
David is survived by his children- Bryan Grantham and his wife Pearl of Dayton, Kim Trask and her husband Greg of Arundel, Julie Grantham-Mead and her husband Tim of Limerick, and Ginger Grantham and her companion- Dave Dixon of Dayton; his longtime companion Rita Arseneau of Berlin, NH; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
