The family would like to thank St Andres Healthcare and Hospice of Southern Maine for the excellent care of Dorothy the last several months.
A graveside service will be held Saturday 10:00AM at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Dr. Burton Howe of the United Baptist Church will officiate.

Saco, Dorothy L. Philbrick, 89, of Ross Road passed away Monday October 14, 2013 at the St. Andres Healthcare Facility in Biddeford.
She was born in Buxton, ME January 22, 1924 the daughter of Ethan and Olive Libby Smith.
From the age of ten, she was raised by Gertrude (Nannie) and Herman (Pooka) Clark. They moved to the Saco area in 1938 where she attended local schools. She later graduated from Thornton Academy in 1941 and married her high school sweetheart, Jesse Philbrick.
Dorothy worked as the book keeper with her husband for their garage for over 27 years.
She loved to knit and cook and was known to have the World’s best whoopie pies.
She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Saco.
She is predeceased by a sister Grace Plummer and a brother Donald Smith.
She is survived by her husband of over 70 years Jesse Philbrick Sr of Saco, foster sisters Marguerite Gardner and Janet Reidel, 6 children Jesse Philbrick Jr of Lyman and his wife Mary, Terry Philbrick Sr of Warrenville, NC and his wife Peggy, Audrey Sawyer of Saco and her husband Orrin, Joleen Philbrick of Kennebunk, Vincent Philbrick of Las Vegas, NV and Wanda Chelate of Saco and her husband Adam, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
