So sorry for the loss to the family and friends of Joan. She was a most amazing Lady and a truly wonderful friend to me. I always looked up to her. She will be so missed at the Town Hall, she was our go to person for genealogy and just about anything about the town (she could have written a book). Always willing to help anyone. I have worked with Joan for 15 years and I can't imagine going to work and she's not there! My heart truly hurts. She will never be forgotten and always loved by all her coworkers. 💝

I am truly saddened over the death of Joan, who was a wonderful friend for many years. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I will miss her presence at the Buxton Town Hall, where she assisted me many times with my many genealogy research projects. She had so much knowledge and sources to share. What a giving and loving person she was. I was more than happy to have reciprocated by helping Joan with her Emery family. Rest in peace, my friend.
