Obituary:
HOLLIS- Natalia Theresa Salevsky, age 10, passed away on Sunday August 25th, our family lost its’ guiding light. The daughter of Max A. Salevsky and Janine P. (Necle) Salevsky, Natalia was born on May 8, 2003 in Portland, Maine.
Where do you start? How do you begin to describe someone who has been in your every thought, your every breath since before she was even born? There are really no words adequate to say what this little girl brought to the lives of those she came in contact with. She regularly made it her mission to bring joy and encouragement to all around her. Natalia was the strongest person that I have ever known. She met every challenge with an unwavering strength. Natalia’s love for life was evident in all that she did, whether it was singing a song, or acting in a play, or simply being herself. But the thing that she loved most of all was her family. She had a connection with her brothers Max and Augie that could not be severed.
The lights in Heaven are most certainly shining brighter now as they welcome their newest Angel. Her spirit lives on in those who she has touched, and her legacy of generosity, kindness, and love will endure forever. Missing her now and forevermore are her parents Max and Janine and her brothers Max and Augie. In addition she is survived by her Uncles George H Salevsky, Jr. of South Portland and Charles M. Salevsky, Sr. of Scarborough and her cousins Jaclyn, Charles Jr., and Elizabeth. She is predeceased by her beloved grandparents, George H. and Evelyn P. Salevsky, formerly of Hollis.
Visitation will be on Saturday Aug. 31, from 1-2 PM at the Hollis Center Baptist Church, Route 202, Hollis, Maine. A funeral service will follow at the church at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Meeting House Hill Cemetery on Route 35, Hollis.

My deepest and sincerest sympathies to Natalia's family & friends. As a little girl my Nana always told me when a child is taken from us it is because God chooses their soul to fill his hall of souls in heaven so children who would otherwise have never had a chance to be born are. May her light shine down upon her family and give them strength during this diffiuclt time. May God bless you all.

I can never say how sorry I am for your loss. My heart is broken. I enjoyed Natalia so much and loved all her little drawings for me and she was the best little actress in "Annie". She was the true American Girl Doll. Please call me as the number I have for you is incorrect and I love you all. Lynn
