Visiting hours will be on Monday, Aug. 19, from 5-7 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the North Saco Congregational Church. www.DCPate.com
Burial will follow at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery next to his wife Audrey and son Wayne.

Obituary:
SACO- “Red” Harold Anders Bruns, age 85, of Old Buxton Road, passed away on August 15, 2013 at his home after a period of declining health.
He was born in Portland on Nov. 5, 1927, a son of the late Peter and Irene (Hall) Bruns.
After attending high school, Red proudly served in the US Navy during WWII aboard the USS Lough-DE 586.
Red drove truck for many years and later worked as a salesman for the American Steel & Aluminum Corporation. He was a member of the American Legion in Westbrook and the VFW in South Portland.
For many years Red has been very active with the community and the North Saco Congregational Church- participating in church activities and outreach programs.
Red enjoyed making chocolate peanut butter fudge for friends and family. He enjoyed dancing and especially loved singing karaoke at the VFW and nursing homes when his health permitted.
Besides spending time with family and friends, Red looked forward to attending WWII ship reunions and talking with his fellow shipmates.
He is predeceased his beloved wife- Audrey (Migneault) Bruns; a son- Wayne Bruns; and siblings- Jean Trask and Russell P. Bruns.
Red is survived by his clan of children- Russell Frank Bruns of Biddeford, Charles Warren King and his wife Sandy of Hollis, Joyce Bruns of Georgia, Jacqueline Grano of Auburn, Kathleen Bruns of Waterville, Linda Thompson and her husband Richard of Auburn, William Bailey and his wife Tina of Windham, Earl Richards of South Portland, Suzanne Lydon and her husband Joseph of South Portland, and Robin Pietila of Saco; and siblings- Charlotte Bassett of Hallowell, and Hazel Thomas of South China; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
