Saco, Gerard A. Keane, 76, of Saco, passed away Wednesday July 31, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Boston, MA May 17, 1937 the son of John and Frances Scanlon Keane.
He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Gerard worked construction in Boston and later in Vermont. His most recent employment was with The Masonicare facility in Ct. as the Director of Facilities.
In 2006 he and his wife, Marien, moved to the Saco area .
He enjoyed playing cribbage, spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He also enjoyed drives to Ogunquit to walk on the beach.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marien Sisco Keane of Saco, a son Gerard Keane of Madison, Ct, 3 daughters Karen Colantuoni of Westwood, MA, Patricia Keane Martin of Mansfield, Ma and Deborah Damond of San Francisco, CA, 8 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jenna, Michael, Ava, Garrett, Brennan, Ryan and Michaela.
