Visiting hours will be on Thursday, April 25, from 3-5 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills). A reception to celebrate Lonnie’s life will follow- information will be available at the funeral home during the visiting hours.

Obituary:
HOLLIS- Lonnie Neal Atkins Sr., age 58, passed away on April 22, 2013 unexpectedly in Hollis.
He was born on Feb. 9, 1955 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, a son of the late Willie and Opal (Cross) Atkins.
Lonnie proudly served his country by serving with the US Army for six years.
He received Associates Degrees from St. Leo College and the former SMVTI.
He has worked for Concord Coach Lines for many years as a driver and more recently as a maintenance supervisor.
He enjoyed tinkering on projects, walking, and was a devout family man who especially enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife- Kathryn Atkins; sons- Neal Atkins and his wife Sandra of Saco, Paul Atkins of Buxton, and William Atkins of Hollis; siblings- Larry Atkins and his wife Candy, Patricia Cash and her husband Bill, Gary Atkins and his wife Nancy, Anthony Atkins and his significant other Tina, and Mark Atkins and his wife Vicki; and grandchildren- Shayla, Tanner, Jayden, and Liam Atkins.

My daughter,Marilynn Burkowski and I would like to offer our condolences to the entire Atkins family. We have many happy memories of past times spent with them. Red was always kind to us both.
