A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 23, at 11 AM at Highland Cemetery, on Church Hill Road in Buxton (Groveville).

Obituary:
BUXTON/GROVEVILLE- “Patty” Patricia Elaine Tyler, age 70, of Dunnell Road, passed away on April 2, 2013 at the Maine Medical Center.
She was born in Portland, Maine on Sept. 23, 1942, a daughter of the late John Sr. and Dorothy (Durgin) Hanna.
After graduating from S.D. Hanson High School, Pat went on to work as a bookkeeper throughout her life. She worked for companies such as UNUM, Neal and Gunter, the Reese Corporation, Liberty Mutual and Mega Industries. She also handled the bookkeeping of her husband and son’s business- Tyler Sheet Metal.
From 1970 – 1981, Pat served as the Town of Buxton treasurer.
She enjoyed watching NASCAR and football, going to Oxford Casino, doing puzzles, and going out to dinner with the “girls”.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband- Charles Tyler Sr. who passed away on July 14, 2012; and a sister- Phyllis Roberts.
Pat is survived by her children- Charles “Charlie” Tyler Jr. and his companion Crystal O’Brien of Buxton and Darleen Crosby of Buxton; siblings- John “Jack” Hanna of Buxton, George Hanna of Buxton, and Joanne Vetro of Buxton; grandson- Tyler Crosby; and many nieces and nephews.

Darlene: I was so very sad to hear Pat had passed away. We worked together at Neill and Gunter. I moved back home to Canada a few years ago but your mom and I always had 2 or 3 visits and lunch every year. She was a fabulous lady and so much fun to be around. I will miss her.
