Visiting hours will be on Monday, Nov. 28, from 6-8 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills). During the visitation at 7:30 PM, members of Buxton Masonic Lodge #115 will perform funeral honors. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 11 AM. Rev. Karen Christensen will officiate. Burial will follow at South Buxton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Cecil suggested that memorial contributions be made to the First Congregational Church of Buxton- Tory Hill Meetinghouse, Restoration/Building Fund, PO BOX 37, Bar Mills, Maine 04004.

BUXTON- Cecil T. Pinkham, age 92, of Oakwood Drive, passed away on Nov. 25, 2011 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
He was born in Buxton on Oct. 27, 1919, the son of the late George and Elma (Harriman) Pinkham. He attended Buxton Schools and went to work for Sanders Engineering, the Army Corps of Engineers as a subcontractor, Ellis C. Snodgrass as a concrete pump operator, built homes and worked for his son Ted, who owned the Salmon Falls Country Club at that time. During these years, Cecil also worked as a lobsterman. He fondly remembered that time as the best days of his life.
Cecil was a member of the First Congregational Church of Buxton, and a 57 year member of Buxton Masonic Lodge #115 AF&AM. He was also on the local school board and harbormaster for Scarborough when he lived on Pine Point.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife whom he married on Jan. 8, 1938- Ruth (Quimby) Pinkham; son Theodore “Ted” Pinkham; daughter - Barbara Elwell; and his siblings. Cecil leaves behind twelve grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 16 great great grandchildren.
