Obituary:
Darlene A. Green - 59, of Arundel, passed away Monday February 27, 2023 at Southern Maine Medical Center, in Biddeford, from a sudden illness due to cancer.
Darlene was born in Portland, on August 30, 1963, the daughter of Lewis and Doreen Flye Locke.
Darlene attended Scarborough schools and graduated from Scarborough High School. She was a caring and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, working over 40+ year in the Healthcare field, at Southridge Rehabilitation Living Center and Kennebunk Center for Health & Rehabilitation. She was a loving mother to her three children, who were her pride and joy. In her spare time, Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to country music, going to the casinos, soaking up the sun, working in her gardens, and always looked forward to vacations and traveling with her loving significant other Desh, her partner of almost 18 years.
She is predeceased by her parents, son Joshua Locke, daughter-in-law Amy Ouellette, and brother Paul Locke.
She is survived by son Corey Mitch of Shapleigh, her two daughters Chelsie Mitch and Christine Mitch of Arundel, her signficant other Donald Deshambeault of Arundel, brothers Darel Locke and Peter Locke of FL, and sister/best friend Donna Morgan, and her husband Jeff Morgan of Saco, several step-siblings, and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
