Obituary: Shawnia Marie Maffiola, 23 passed away in Biddeford on May 8, 2022. She was born in Newburyport, MA on September 28, 1998, the daughter of Christine Rutherford and Peter Maffiola.
Sorry to be so late in sending my condolences but I am so proud of her step parents that said what they said in the newspaper. There was no reason why they had to die. Biddeford should have done more for them. I lost a grandson in this town due to drugs and they didn't help him either. God has received two angels and they aren't in pain anymore. You have my deepest condolences and prayers and time does heal the loss but you will never forget them.
