A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 25, at 2 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, located on the corners of Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Rd) in Buxton (Bar Mills).

Obituary:
HOLLIS- Frances E. (Myrick) Murphy, 56, passed away in her sleep on Oct. 26, 2012. She was born in Bar Harbor, Maine on Oct. 2, 1956, the daughter of Arland L. Myrick and Rosetta Boutaugh Myrick.
Frances graduated from Bonny Eagle High School and Southern Maine Voc. Tech School of Practical Nursing in South Portland, Maine. She worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Maine, Florida, and lastly at the Gorham House.
In 1978, Frances met and married Samuel A. Murphy of Salem, MA in the State of Florida. They lived, worked and raised a family there. She had a special connection with the elderly in her nursing career and loved her children, grandchildren, and family deeply. She was an animal lover, avid reader, enjoyed playing Scrabble and always had a dog or cat to love.
Frances is predeceased by her parents and her husband Samuel Murphy III in 2009. She is survived by three children, Pastor Samuel Murphy IV and wife Kelly of Joliet, Ill, her daughter Brianna and her husband Stephen Hawkins of Glen Burnie, MD, her son Sean Murphy and fiancée Alicia Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, and two grandchildren Samuel S. Hawkins and Delia Rose Hawkins of Glen Burnie, MD. She is also survived by a sister Peggy Hill and her husband Gary of Hollis, a brother Arland Myrick Jr. and wife Jeanne of Buxton, and several nieces and nephews.
