A celebration of Jimís life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 18 from 11AM-2PM at Skipís Bar, located on Rt. 202 in Buxton.

Obituary:
BUXTON- James A. Lufkin, age 68, of Dundee Circle, passed away on Nov. 6, 2012 at his home, surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with cancer.
He was born in Portland, Maine on Sept. 2, 1944, the son of the late Raymond and Elaine (Fraser) Lufkin.
After graduating from Portland High School, he went on to proudly serve in the US Army. During his enlistment, Jim was stationed in Thailand and Alaska and was attached to the Army Corps of Engineers.
For over 20 years, Jim was employed as a tool & die maker at Tems, and retired in 2006.
Jim will always be remembered for his love of motorcycling and the freedom of the road. He took many cross country rides with his wife Deb, and enjoyed bike weeks in Myrtle Beach, Florida, and Sturgis, SD Ė where he wed his wife. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife on their many vacations to Jamaica.
He will also be remembered for his love of family and socializing with friends.
Besides his parents, Jim is predeceased by his sister Helen Luger.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years- Deborah (Blaisdell) Lufkin; sons- Scott Lufkin and his partner Pam of Hollis and Mark Lufkin and his wife Dorna of Standish; step children- Adam Kimball and Ann Kimball; nieces and nephews- Steve, Elaine, and Kathy of NH and Karen of Indianapolis; and was grandfather to Selena, Dwight, Jenna, Adam, Reg, Marcus and Jessica
Jimís family would like to thank VNA Hospice and Linda Collomy for their caring and support in his final days.
