A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM November 20, 2020 at St. Maximillian Kolbe, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough.
Burial will follow at West Parish Cemetery in Andover, MA, where she will be laid to rest with her husband,
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco are entrusted with her services.

Obituary:
Scarborough, Isabelle C. Whelan, 94, of Fern Circle passed away Friday November 13, 2020 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.
She was born in Queens, New York July 3, 1926 the daughter of George and Marie Louise DeLambre McCracken.
Isabelle graduated from Lawrence High School in Massachusetts.
She then graduated from Tufts University, where she met her future husband Joe.
Isabelle worked in the lab for Queens Hospital, while Joe finished his residency. She married Dr. Joseph R. Whelan on June 10, 1950. She volunteered many years for St. Francis Hospital and was the treasurer and then President for the Nassau County Medical Woman’s Auxiliary.
She enjoyed puzzles, cross stitch and other crafts.
She moved to Maine in 2016 and attended St. Maximillian Kolbe in Scarborough.
She is predeceased by her husband Dr. Joseph R. Whelan.
Survivors include a daughter Katharine Whelan of Scarborough, a son Edward Whelan of New Paltz, NY and 3 grandchildren, Tracie. Dayna and Kyle.
