Friends and relatives may call Wednesday November 11, 2020 from 4 to 6 PM at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 365 Main St, Saco. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at The New Life Church, 551 Alfred St, Biddeford, Maine 04005.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the “Loose Change Changes Lives” program started by his granddaughter c/o Ashton Embelton, 50 Getchell Rd, Easton, Maine 04740.
Obituary:
Saco – James W. White, Sr. 68 passed away at Maine Medical Center on November 8, 2020. He was born in Biddeford on April 6, 1952, the son of Melvin and Ethel Blunt White. As a young boy, he attended Old Orchard Beach schools and graduated from Biddeford High School then went to tech school for trucking.
He worked for Huttig and Wood Structures, finally retiring from Portland Air Freight.
He loved the outdoors, he especially liked to hunt and fish.
He was predeceased by his brother Melvin and sister Linda.
He is survived by his wife Judith Campbell White of Saco, a son James White, Jr. of Saco, a daughter Kimberly Embelton and her husband Timothy of Easton, a brother Dan White and his wife Melissa of Florida, 7 grandchildren Sadie Embelton, Brittni Page, Zachary White, Cody Embelton, Jacob White, Logan Embelton, and Ashton Embelton, and 3 great grandchildren Gabriella, Zyra and Addison, as well as many nieces and nephews.
