Obituary:
Bar Mils, James McCue, 102 formerly of Fifield Drive passed away Thursday November 5, 2020 at the Inn at Village Square in Gorham.
James was born in Brooklyn, NY January 12,1918 the son of James and Catherine O’Donnell McCue.
James graduated from Milford, NH High school and served in the US Army during WW2.
He served in the Atlantic Theater of Operations.
After his service to his country he attended Bentley College for Accounting.
He worked for over 34 years as a field auditor for Liberty Mutual Insurance and retired from the Portland Office in 1992.
He enjoyed going to Rangeley for fishing and hunting. James also enjoyed golfing and barbershop singing and at one time did the Appalachian Trail.
He was a past member of the BPOE Elks of Portland and the American Legion of South Portland.
Survivors include 2 sibling and many nieces and nephews.
