There will be a celebration of her life at 47 Summit Street, Old Orchard Beach from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday Oct. 20.

Obituary:
OLD ORCHARD BEACH- Deanna Marie Matheson- 6/9/1951-10/12/2012
went home to join her heavenly family after a brief illness. She will be remembered by her family, friends and anyone who came into contact with her for her unconditional love, her forgiving nature and her love of the ocean and earths precious stones. She was pre-deceased by her mother Arlene Ella Rice, step father George Rice and her father Stewart Matheson. She has survived by her three sons, Nicholas Palmerino of Old Orchard Beach Maine, Anthony Palmerino of Milford Massachusetts, and Christopher Palmerino of Biddeford Maine. She leaves behind two granddaughters who were her precious gems Alexandria and Marissa Palmerino of Newberry Massachusetts. Two sisters, Debra and Mason Seavey of Bangor Maine and Denise and Richard Collette of Brimfield Massachusetts. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews she adored with her whole heart. She also leaves behind many cousins and family members she believed were her sisters and brothers especially three special women Sister/Aunt, Jeanne Holmes of Belfast Maine, Sister/Cousins Linda Mitchell of Tolland Connecticut and Lorrie Mitchell and her partner Sue Elcik of Lucerne Maine. Two Adored Uncles Ronald and Joyce Mitchell of Belfast, and Gary and Daisy Mitchell of Foxboro Massachusetts. There will be a celebration of her life at 47 Summit Street, Old Orchard Beach from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday Oct. 20. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to assist with final expenses to Denise Collette 53 Apple Road, Brimfield Mass, 01010

So glad that i had you in my life Deanna, you were always such an inspiration to me ,and everyone around you. Thanks for always having your door open whenever i needed it. Thanks for all the great memories and the life we had. I will forever miss you and your sweet smile, till we meet again sweet sister/cousin, say hi to them all for me...love you and miss you so much already!

My heart breaks for the Mitchell family and the loss of Deanna. She was such an amazing, unique person who just lit up a room when she entered it. The epitome of 'love'..that was Deanna. She will definitely live on in our hearts forever.
