A graveside service will be held for Hazel and Ernest at Meetinghhouse Hill Cemetery in Hollis for the immediate family, where they will be laid to rest together.
Rev. Ron Sargent of the Hollis Center Church will officiate.
Services are entrusted to Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home13 Portland Road Buxton ( Bar Mills) Maine.
Obituary:
Limerick - Hazel E. Packard, 82 of Old Country way passed away April 16, 2020.
She was born June 23,1938 in Haverhill, Massachusetts the daughter of Frank Thornhill and May Whitter Thornhill.
Hazel attended local schools in Massachusetts and graduated from Haverhill High School.
She worked for the Merrimac Police Department as a dispatcher and then for the Merrimac School System, retiring as a bookkeeper.
Hazel enjoyed quilting, reading, motorcycling, singing and gardening.
She was a member of the Adeline’s barbershop Quarter, the retreads motorcycle club and the Hollis Center Church.
She is predeceased by her husband Ernest Packard , of 62 years, in February of this year.
Survivors include a daughter Caroline Dennis and husband Robert of Chester, NH, a son Douglas Packard and wife Barbara of Exeter, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren,
