Friends and relatives may attend calling hours at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral home 365 Main St, Saco, Sunday October 6, 2019 from 12 to 2 pm. Following is a memorial reception at River Winds Farm and Estate on 121 Louden Road Saco, ME until 5 pm.
Obituary:
Old Orchard Beach, Sara Lyn Field, 32, of Evergreen Ave passed away Thursday October 3, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Methuen MA June 7, 1987 the daughter of Dale Field and Mabel Field Dunn.
Sara enjoyed the beach, was an avid reader and she was very creative with art. Her high school nickname was Sketchy. Sara also participated in yoga classes and has been in training to be an instructor. Sara was always spending time and loving her cats most currently Baby Po for the last two years. Sara has been an active member at the Portland Recovery Community Center for years. Dr. Kristen Sylvia with the help of Crossroads has been an active positive part of Sara's recovery. Unfortunately Sara lost her 10 year battle with drug addiction, depression, and her mental health.
Sara is predeceased by her paternal grandfather Sydney Field of Methuen, MA.
Sara is survived by her mother Mable Dunn of Old Orchard Beach, her father Dale Field of Lowell, MA, her only brother Nathan Field of San Francisco and her only sister Alison Dunn of Dover, NH, and her grandmothers Rita Field Curtis and Kathy Field.
