Obituary:
Saco – Richard George Boudreau 80 of Pine Haven Drive, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2019 at Pine Point Center in Scarborough.
He was born in Biddeford on January 20, 1939, the son of Rene and Alfreda Dussault Pelletier. He was educated in Biddeford schools. He served in the Air Force. He worked at the Saco Tannery for 15 years then went to work for the City of Saco in their Wastewater department retiring after 22 years of service.
He was the manager of the Tannery’s Championship Fast-Pitch Softball team for many years. He also loved hunting and fishing.
He was predeceased by his wife in 2002 Joan C. Ward Boudreau and a son James Alan Boudreau.
He is survived by his son Daniel Boudreau of Saco, daughters Karen James of Saco and Barbara Turner of Old Orchard Beach, a brother Mark Dussault and sisters Terri, Connye and Barbara, as well as 7 grandchildren and 18 Great grandchildren.
