Obituary:
Shapleigh, Daisy L. Knight, 73, of Pine Cone Drive in Shapleigh passed away April 24, 2019 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Connecticut June 25, 1945 the daughter of Raymond and Bernice Jones Knight.
She came to Maine at a young age and attended Portland schools.
Daisy was first employed at a fishery in Portland and later for Hood Milk packaging ice cream. She worked later for Eagle Industries in Hollis and then at a luncheon diner in Florida.
Daisy enjoyed reading and latch hooking rugs.
She is survived by her companion of over 30 years Randal Caton of Springvale, a brother Danny Knight of Portland and a sister Denise Heart of Maine.
