A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Jeffrey Alexander and Pastor Brian Blaire officiating. Dennett, Craig & Pate 13 Portland Road, Buxton is entrusted with his arrangements.

Obituary:
Alvin A. Harmon, 84 passed away peacefully Saturday January 26, 2019 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Hollis on June 16, 1934, the son of Clint and Lillian Waterhouse Harmon. He attended Hollis schools and went to work at various jobs; most recently he was a self-employed carpenter.
He was a volunteer for the Hollis Rescue EMT, a member of the Hollis Honkers SnoMobile Club and the Hollis Rod and Gun Club. He was a also a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and spending time with his family on his back deck.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Catherine Black Harmon, his sons David and Amy Rubin-Harmon and Daniel and Debbie Harmon, daughters Jacqueline and Peter Hopkinson, Rowena and Lester Hawkes and Brenda Patten, a brother James and Shirley Harmon, a sister Lois and Donald Edelson, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and his kitty Dora.
