The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Southern Maine and the great staff at Seal Rock for the excellent care and friendship that she received while she was there.
A memorial service will be held July 21st at 10 AM at Dennett, Craig & Pate 365 Main St, Saco. Rev. Ron Sargent of Hollis Center Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Biddeford.
For those wishing to make contributions in Virginia’s memory, the family suggests they can be made to the Activities Fund at Seal Rock, 88 Harbor DR. Saco, ME or the Maine Cancer Society.

Obituary:
Biddeford- Virginia Litwinowich, age 83, of formerly of Pool Road, at Seal Rock Health Care in Saco.
She was born in Biddeford, Maine on December 18, 1928, the daughter of Verner and Louise (Wilcox) Hooper.
She graduated from Biddeford High School in 1947.
She was married to Edward Litwinowich and raised a family together.
Virginia worked at the Saco Lowell Shops and at Brooks and Welby Drugs Stores.
She was a member of the former Foss St. Methodist Church and currently a member of Cornerstone Methodist Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society of Saco. She attended for many years Body Wise Swimming at UNE.
She enjoyed reading, knitting and traveling.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward.
She is survived by four daughters- Susan Hunt and her husband Robert of Kennebunk, Sandra Litwin of Laguna Niguel of CA, Patricia Sargent and her husband Richard of Hollis, and Tina Camire of Norcross GA, three grand children, Robert, Tracey, and Chris a great grandchild Neeley Hunt, a brother Charles Hooper and wife Nancy of CT, a sister in law Helen Brown of Scarborough and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Was very sorry to hear of Virginia's passing. I worked with her many years ago and enjoyed her sense of humor and her love for her family endearing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
