Visiting hours are to be held Thursday January 24, 2019 from 4 to 7 PM.

Graveside will be held Friday January 25, 2019 at 11:00AM at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland, where he will be laid to rest, with military honors, next to his wife.

Obituary:
Paul Fredrick Prue, 76, formerly of West Buxton, ME passed away January 4, 2019 at his home in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in Bangor, Maine on October 31, 1942 to Henry and Dora White Prue.

Paul was a long time resident of Maine and attended school in Old Orchard Beach. He served in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. Paul was married to Lorraine Perreault until 1974 and then married Betty Ann Madore in 1979. Paul held many jobs in varying industries. He was also a Volunteer EMT and Fire Fighter for the Town of Cape Elizabeth and the Town of Buxton. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, rock hounding, photography, feeding the ducks on Bonny Eagle Pond and watching outdoorsmen shows as well as his favorite classic TV show M.A.S.H.

He is predeceased by his brother Wayne Prue in 1941, wife Betty Ann Prue in 2017, and his son Scott Prue Sr. this past October 8, 2018.

Survivors include son, Brian Prue and wife Elaine of Grafton, Massachusetts, daughter, Brenda Prue and her partner Mitchell Huard of Standish, ME, step-son, Matti C. Aalto Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Windham, ME, and step-daughter, Kathy Brann and her husband Fred of South Portland, ME. Paul is also survived by his brother Stephen Prue and his wife Linda of Westbrook, ME and his sister Donna Hinds of Saco, ME. Paul was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 4 nieces and nephews.
