A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00pm at South Buxton Cemetery. Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home,13 Portland Rd, Buxton (Bar Mills) is respectfully handling the arrangements.

Obituary:
Saco – Dr. Roland Arthur Fogg, 92, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2018 at his beloved Simpson Road farm. Roland was born April 23, 1926 in Saco, the son of Arthur and Mary Fogg. Roland grew up helping his father and uncles working the Fogg Brothers Dairy farm. After getting his eyes checked at a young age, Roland discovered that he wanted to be an Optometrist and after graduating from Thornton Academy in 1944, he went on to the University of Maine and Massachusetts School of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1950.
Dr. Fogg, as he was known by most, was a revered Optometrist in Gorham for close to 40 years. He was a member of the American Optometric Association, Saco Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. Dr. Fogg was a proud charter member of the Gorham Country Club and loved golf. His favorite pastime was to drive through the Fogg farm and enjoy the Saco river. He also enjoyed the beach, hunting and driving around the beautiful farmland of Saco listening to country music.
Roland had the utmost respect for the hard work farming requires and being the 5th generation of Fogg's to care for the farm started in 1810, was amazed to see the results of years of hard work before him.
