Friends and relatives may call Thursday May 24, 2018 from 12 to 1PM at Dennett Craig and Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main Street, Saco, Maine. A 1:00 pm memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Rev. Beverly Lowell will officiate. A graveside service will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 293 Beach Street, Saco where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Mel.

Obituary:
Saco - Selma F. Wilbur, known as “Sam” to family and friends, passed away on May 18, 2018 at The Landing surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 26,1929 in Portland, the daughter of Alfred and Grace Seavey Milliken. She was the last survivor of their 11 children.
Selma graduated from Deering High School and went on to graduate with a degree in Journalism from Westbrook Junior College. For many years she worked for the telephone company and in later years worked in the Deli at Shaw’s and cleaned cottages.
Selma was a member of the United Baptist Church and of the Annette Chapter #184 Order of Eastern Star.
She loved reading, painting, sewing and writing short stories.
She was predeceased by her husband Melvin Wilbur in 2006.
She is survived by her daughters Beverly Battle of Scarborough, Diane and her husband Richard Bartlett of Dayton, Lynne and her husband Marc Parent of Biddeford, 1 granddaughter Amy Bartlett-Goodness and 2 great grandsons Benjamin and Christopher.
