Friends and relatives may call from 4-7pm on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Dennett Craig and Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main Street, Saco, Maine. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 15th at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 293 Beach Street, Saco where he will be laid to rest beside his wife Barbara.

Obituary:
Saco – Gerald “Jerry” Philip Goss, 61 passed away at Southern Maine Health Care on May 11, 2018. He was born on February 26, 1957 in Fitchburg, Ma, one of twelve children to Edward and Frances Ryan Goss. He was educated in Fitchburg school. He left school before graduating to enlist in the Army. He served overseas in Germany from 1975-1978. When he returned from service, he finished school and received his GED. He moved to Saco and married Barbara Cross. He went on to take classes as SMCC to take Machining courses. He worked many years as a machinist at Saco Defense and Pratt Whitney.
He loved fishing and sitting around the bonfire with his family and neighborhood friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Barbara in 2008 and brothers Mark and Jimmy.
He is survived by his mother Franny, his daughters Sarah Goss of Old Orchard Beach and Danielle Goss of Saco, brothers Edward, Jeff, Mark, and Rob, sisters Nancy, Donna, Lisa, Carol, Beth and Allyson, 3 grandchildren Lillian, Sierra, and Hunter, many nieces, nephews and in-laws. He also leaves his loving partner Cindy Mountain of Dover and her sons Justin, Shane and Curtis.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Gerry. I enjoyed talking with him when he came into the Credit Union. He was very generous when it came to helping children in need. May he Rest In Peace.
