Obituary:
Dr. Kestutis Kemezys was born in Klaipeda,Lithuania on August,15,1924 to Antanas and Eugenia Kemezys. In 1944 he escaped from the invasion of Lithuania to Germany with his sisters Aldona and Rita and with his aunt Maria. He graduated from Eberhard-Karls University in Tubingen,Germany in 1950, he also obtained degrees from Tufts Medical School in Boston and Dalhousie University in Halifax. He was the chief anesthesiologist at Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan,ME and a general practitioner for 30 years. He is survived by childern Jennifer Thornton,Cynthia Felder,Algis,Kevin,Paul and Ara Kemezys and beloved wife Harriet Kemezys. He was predeceased by son Mark Kemezys.
