Visitation Information:
Friends and relatives may call Friday from 12 to 1 at the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St, Westbrook. A 1 :00 PM service will follow at the church with Rev. Dr. Edward DeLong officiating. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook with US Navy Honors, where he will be laid to rest on the family plot next to his wife Sally. A reception will be held at the church following burial.

Obituary:
Old Orchard Beach Harry B. Chase Jr., 99, formerly of Old Orchard Beach and Westbrook passed away Saturday September, 16, 2017 at the Gorham House. He was born in Westbrook ,August 24, 1918 the son of Harry and Calanthe Sylvester Chase. Harry attended Westbrook schools. At Forest Street School he was the Co-Captain of the basketball team. While in the Boy Scouts, he played in the drum and bugle corps during summer camp at Highland Lake. Thru high school, he played hockey and belonged to the Pastime Club, graduating in 1936. He later served in the US Navy during World War II in the submarine service.
After his service to his country, he worked at the shipyard for several years before working in the family plumbing business. Harry worked in the family business, H. B. Chase, until he retired at the age of 83.
Harry was a member of the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church and enjoyed spending time with his family at Highland Lake and later at Sebago Lake Campground.
Harry is predeceased by his wife, Sally Chase, in 2010.
Survivors include a son Gerald “Wayne” Chase of Westbrook, a daughter Geraldine Carr of New Oxford, PA., a step son John Roberge and wife Lianne of Cliffside Park, NJ, a step daughter Susan Michaud- Bosse and husband Don of Mechanic Falls, 7 grandchildren William, Dianna, Melissa, Bradley, Alan, Nicole and Danielle and 4 great grandchildren Amber, Nathan, Joshua and Morgan.
